WHY SHOULD I RESCREEN?

Why Should I Rescreen the Screens on My:

Windows    *    Screen Doors    *    Porches

Here are a few great reasons a homeowner, property management company, or renter should rescreen their screens.

1.  DAMAGED SCREENS WON'T STOP INSECTS BUT NEW ONES WILL!

If your screen mesh is damaged, you will definitely want to rescreen them because they are no longer effective and functional.  Rescreening is a less expensive option compared to buying a new window screen.  If your window screen's frame is damaged, this will require a replacement piece of frame.  More than three frame replacement pieces, then your best option is to custom build a new window screen.

Damaged screen mesh does not protect your the inside of your home &/or porch from those pesky insects, especially mosquitoes.  They will find their way into your home through the holes.

You especially want to stop mosquitoes from entering into your home.  They carry a lot of different kinds of diseases that can irritate, harm, or even kill a child or adult.  Small children and the elderly are at a greater risk of these diseases spread by mosquitoes, as well as anyone with a low immune system due to an illness, cancer, etc.  Read more about the Zika virus blog on our Resource Center, click on this button:

2.  NEW SCREENS ADD VALUE TO YOUR HOME!

New screens add value to your home.  When selling a home, the outside of your home will make or break the first impression of the potential buyer.  Window, door and porch screens that are in disrepair, damaged, or sagging will not be looked upon favorably by the buyer.  They will add it to their "Fix It List" for your home if they consider buying it.  Don't let this be what stops them from buying your home!

3.  CHANGE YOUR SCREENS FROM UNSIGHTLY  TO  BEAUTIFUL & FUNCTIONAL!

When screens are deteriorating, the screen mesh no longer looks a charcoal color, but is lighter and looks like shiny silver threads in the sunlight.  Screens that receive the majority of the Sun's rays on them through the day will deteriorate the quickest.  Once they've entered into this discolored phase, they become brittle and more easily damaged by your hands pushing on them, your children, balls, flying debris during storms, etc.

If your porch screen is sagging, which they will all do over time and from wear and tear, have it rescreened which will add value to your home and will make it beautiful and functional once more.

Turn your unsightly screens into beautiful and functional screens by having them rescreened.
